Being able to brake and stop completely whenever you need it is one of your car's most important safety features. But what happens if the brakes start to perform worse? Bad Brake Rotors One of the major components in your brake system is the rotors. They are circular discs mounted to the wheels. When you press the brakes, the brake pads are pushed to it, and contact is made between the two, resulting in a decrease in speed.
