Are You Feeling Your Car's A/C?

The temperatures in Las Vegas are quickly climbing as spring is finally here. With hot weather on the way, drivers in the area should start testing their car's air conditioning. And if your vehicle's air conditioning isn't working up to expectations, it can make your drive a drag. Fortunately, you have Don's D.I. Auto & Truck Service to handle all of your vehicle's HVAC system issues year-round. Let us make sure that you stay cool throughout the spring and summer.

After winter, you probably didn't run your A/C. This is where most of the problems stem. You may feel the air from your vents, but it isn't cold!

If your A/C seems to be operating normally, without any unusual noises or smell, but it is blowing hot or warm air, you most likely need an A/C recharge. In other words, your A/C system is low on refrigerant or freon.

If your vehicle's refrigerant is low, you may need to check for leaks. When you bring your car to our auto repair shop for an A/C recharge, we can check the system for leaks for you. You must repair a possible leak before wasting all that freon all season. Ignoring the problem can lead to further damage within the system.

Our shop specializes in A/C repair and other vehicle services, and we will thoroughly inspect all the system's components before recharging your vehicle with freon. If you're not experiencing any air conditioning problems this season, it is still recommended to have it inspected every year as a preventative measure.
